I went there FOR YOU! Dedicated to those who would have, but could not. Photography from Lora Louise. ... "Magic & mystery belong to those who look for it." -Lora Louise After hiking the Maroon Bells, outside of Aspen, Colorado, for more than 14 hours, days of recovery, and reliving the adventure through the pictures we took that documented our trek, I felt overcome by emotion...Some people will NEVER get to see what we just saw, or experience the highs and lows of hiking an extreme 14,000 foot mountain. The first person we showed our pictures to, was my boyfriends father who was dying from stage four cancer. He was in awe of our pictures and knew seeing these would be the closest he was going to get to those mountains....
